The picture above is 3 year old Lydia with her 96 year old Great Grandma Ruth Roy. This picture was taken just a few weeks ago and I was saving it to share this Christmas Eve as that is what it's all about.
Sadly Ruth passed away peacefully last week so I'd like to dedicate this post to her as she spends her first Christmas smiling down on her family from above.
I'd also like send out one last thanks to all of you for your support this year. This Christmas Eve may all of your ornaments get along, your rooftops glow gold, and your tree stands spin!
We had a great weekend at the Mistletoe Magic event at the Dayton Convention Center that included meeting a lot of terrific folks who checked out/bought the book as well as meeting the amazing "Hoosier Santa" who was kind enough to send us the spectacular picture above!
And speaking of spectacular -- wait until you see some of his various costumes below that he wore throughout the show.
Amazing, eh? And that's just a few of them! We'd like to thank Hoosier Santa for the pictures and of course for his great company over the two days. You can learn more about Hoosier Santa at his web site here.
Next I want to give a big thank you to the organizers for the promotion which included this fun little blurb in their handout:
Finally I want to send a special thanks out to Andy, Jodi, their adorable daughter Lydia (seen below) and the biggest supporter of this book, Junior, for their visit to our table. We love you guys!

As for the weekend -- the Arvai's had a great time working the Off the Hook table at the Pickerington Holiday Gathering and Wilmington Homespun events. There were great turnouts at both and a whole lotta books and ornaments sold! We can't thank everyone enough for their support and we hope you all enjoy the book along with your Chardonays, Bottlecaps, and Strikes!
I had a couple of stories I want to share from the weekend. First was from a grandma who had actually brought a book from us at the Grove City show in November. She was at the Pickerington Holiday Gathering on Friday and stopped by to tell us that her granddaughter read the book and after she had to go ou...
